Restoration/Filling
Restore of the decayed tooth by some filling materials. When you see some "cavity" or black permanent stains/hole on tooth, it means filling should be done, if pain is not there several fillings are there -
- Amalgam - Strongest filling, but blackish in colour, not esthetically accepted.
- GIC - It's a cement, white in color, it releases further decay.
- Composite - Esthetically most accepted, stronger than GIC, most commonly used material.
